Most pressure instrument failures are not caused by the instrument but by what reaches it: a pressure spike, live steam, pump pulsation or heat. The right accessory removes the problem at the connection.

Overpressure protectors close automatically when pressure exceeds an adjustable set point and reopen when it falls, protecting gauges and switches from spikes and test pressures. Syphons trap a column of condensate so that steam and hot vapour never reach the element. Snubbers restrict the flow into the instrument to damp pulsation from reciprocating pumps and compressors, making the pointer readable and extending the life of the movement. Cooling elements add a finned length between the process and the instrument to bring the medium temperature within the instrument's limit.

Mounting brackets in stainless or carbon steel fix instruments and manifolds to pipe or wall; case covers protect gauge dials and switch housings from weather, wash-down and mechanical damage; check valves prevent backflow into the instrument line.

All accessories are supplied in materials and pressure ratings matched to the instrument they serve and can be delivered pre-assembled with gauges, switches, transmitters, diaphragm seals and manifolds from this range.
