Field-Mounted Indicator
A weatherproof digital indicator for the field, powered from the 4–20 mA loop: dot-matrix LCD readable in sunlight, IP66/IP67 housing, universal input with transparent HART pass-through, relay and 4–20 mA output. Puts the reading at eye level when the transmitter is on top of a tank or inside a pipe rack.
Field-Mounted Indicator
Transmitters are installed where the process is, which is often not where an operator can read them: on tank roofs, high in pipe racks, behind insulation or inside enclosures. The field-mounted indicator brings the reading down to eye level. Wired in series in the 4–20 mA loop and powered by it, the indicator displays the process value in engineering units on a large dot-matrix LCD with a backlight option, and passes the HART signal through transparently so the transmitter can still be configured from the control room or a handheld connected at the indicator.
The housing is rated IP66/IP67 for outdoor and wash-down installation, with a protective cover and a mounting bracket for wall or 2" pipe. Beyond indication, the unit offers a relay output for a local alarm and a 4–20 mA HART output for retransmission, so a single loop can be split to a second receiver. Hazardous-area versions are available for installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2.
Applications are remote indication where the primary measuring device is not easily accessible: tank farms, loading bays, pipe racks, well heads and packaged units across oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and power generation.
