Panel-Mounted Indicator

The panel-mounted indicator gives operators a local reading of a 4–20 mA signal at the control panel, a marshalling cabinet or a local operator station, independent of the control system. It sits in series in the loop and takes its power from the loop current, so it can be added to any existing transmitter loop without new wiring or a power supply, and the reading survives a control-system outage.

The input is universal 4–20 mA with HART; the indicator can be scaled to display the process value in engineering units, with configurable decimal point, linearisation and bar-graph or numeric LCD readout. An optional relay provides a local high or low alarm. The unit mounts in a standard panel cut-out and is rated IP20 for installation inside cabinets and control rooms.

Applications are local indication of standardised 4–20 mA measured values in general industrial installations, including local control panels on skids, pump stations and packaged equipment.
