Inline Density meter

A Coriolis-based inline density meter for continuous liquid density and concentration measurement with ±0.1 kg/m³ accuracy. Sizes up to 2", 0 to 3,000 kg/m³, process pressure to 250 bar and temperature from −50 to +400 °C, in 316L, nickel alloy, tantalum or titanium.
Inline Density meter
An inline density meter measures the density of a flowing liquid directly and continuously, without sampling. The Coriolis design vibrates a tube carrying the process fluid; the resonant frequency of the tube depends on the mass of fluid inside it, and therefore on its density, with the temperature measured by an integrated sensor and compensated automatically. Accuracy is ±0.1 kg/m³, good enough to follow small changes in concentration, blend ratio or product grade.
Meters are available up to 2" for the full range from 0 to 3,000 kg/m³, at process pressures to 250 bar and temperatures from −50 to +400 °C. Wetted parts are 316L stainless steel, nickel alloy, tantalum or titanium for corrosive service. Outputs are 4–20 mA HART, RS-485 and Modbus, with a local LCD indicator and compensation for process temperature and pressure as options.
From density the transmitter calculates derived values such as concentration, °Brix, °API, specific gravity, percent solids or alcohol content using built-in or user-defined curves, so the meter can act as a concentration analyser in a bypass or slipstream.
Applications are liquid density and concentration measurement, product identification and interface detection in pipelines, and process monitoring in oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical plants.
