Float Tape
Float tape, also known as a level indicator tape or liquid level gauge, is a type of level measurement device used to determine the level of liquid in a tank or vessel. It consists of a tape, typically made of steel or plastic, with a float attached to the end. The tape is marked with measurements at regular intervals, indicating the level of the liquid in the tank. The float is designed to float on the surface of the liquid and move up and down with the level of the liquid in the tank. As the float moves up and down, the level of the liquid in the tank is read from the tape at the point where the float is located. Float tapes are commonly used in applications where the level of liquid in a tank or vessel needs to be manually monitored and recorded, such as in the oil and gas, chemical processing, and water treatment industries. They are simple, reliable, and easy to use, making them a popular choice for applications where precision is not critical.
